My cat has a sensitive stomach, vomits often and also sheds heavily. She was also expels hairballs. Any suggestions? --iVillager santhechamp

Dr. Messonnier says: Vomiting is a common complaint. Yes, hairballs can be a problem despite the hairball diet you feed. However, more serious problems such as hyperthyroidism, heartworms (yes, cats get heartworms!) kidney failure and other problems (including inflammatory bowel disease, or IBD) could be the cause.

Have your kitty checked for these problems first. Once you know the cause, check out some natural solutions to the problem in The Natural Health Bible for Dogs & Cats.

Good Luck!
