Q

I am trying to feng shui my desk at work and I am confused. I am in a cubicle. Should I start from the entrance to the cubicle, or from where I sit? --iVillager txgal25

Start with what's important: Get yourself in a powerful and empowered position. If you can't see the entrance to your cubicle when you are working at your desk, place a mirror somewhere in front of you so you can see the reflection of the door or opening.

I also suggest placing a red sweater, jacket or even a red piece if tape across the back of your chair for a little protection from behind. (Red can stop chi. In this case, if the back of your chair is facing the entrance of the cubicle, it can stop it from hitting you in the back.)

If you then want to use the bagua in your cube, do it by using the door to the cube as the orienting point (where the wisdom, career and helpful people guas are).

If you want to simply feng shui your desk, then I might suggest placing the colors underneath the desk in a daisy or flower-like pattern in the shape of the bagua. You will need colored construction paper to represent the colors in the bagua. Cut all of the paper in circles and assemble it in the shape of a flower (center and petals). Orient the "daisy" so that the black "petal" is towards you and the red "petal" is further away from you. The green petal should be to the left and the white petal should be to the right, etc.
