Unexpected Surprises

Create your own vintage snowflake ornament by hand-painting a glass ball ornament. Remove the cap and insert a straw, wrapping masking tape around the straw and neck of the ball. Insert the end of the straw into a foam brick to free hands while working. Paint the ball ivory and cap a darkened gray. Allow to dry thoroughly. Add snowflakes by using a stencil and glitter paint, or draw a snowflake with white glue and sprinkle glitter over the design. Let dry.
