The hollow space in bamboo canes makes the perfect cover-up for plastic tubing. To create an interesting water flow, marble squares were arranged like stair steps for a cascading effect.

Begin building the bamboo spout by cutting a piece of wide bamboo to the length of your containers height. Measure and mark a length of narrow bamboo two thirds the length of the first piece and cut it at an angle. Cut a piece of plastic tubing to the length of each of these pieces plus one inch.
